| Peak Oil, Water Depletion, Climate Change, Population Growth & Your Money. (Cont)
We don't know if we face inflation, deflation or stagflation. We don't know which currencies will rise or fall and we sure don't know which alternative energy source will rise to the top as oil and natural gas are phased out as energy sources and conserved for more productive uses.
We don't know if climate change will extend the tropics to Norway and New Zealand and drown London and Hong Kong or whether it will trigger a new ice age that will lower the oceans and turn today's most productive agricultural areas into frozen, barren deserts. We don't know how the world will cope with the short term rapid increase in population or with the follow-on rapid decrease in population that is already in the making. It will be traumatic, but how traumatic we don't know.
Well, then, what do we know, you ask?
We know this - if you don't protect your money in a variety of ways, you stand a good chance of losing most or all of it. We know that the changes are coming fast and they could come with catastrophic speed. We know that the ocean levels will rise before they decline, that most countries if not all will be unable to cope with the changes we face and retain anything like a "normal" life for its citizens. We know that social structures will be turned upside down and that those who are prepared will prosper and those who aren't will suffer. More than anything, we know that you must use multiple strategies to protect your assets and that keeping a portion of your holdings offshore and out of the reach of desperate governments, greedy relatives and conniving business associates is one of those strategies.
Fortunately we can help you so that you can not only put some of your money out of sight and your other assets out of reach. We can help you to place your money with a reliable institution that will allow you to invest and grow it while you wait for the the future to reveal what it has in store. Check out the links at the left and see what your options are. Or send me an email with your questions and I'll try to answer your questions. Meanwhile I've included a few links below that may help to convince you that we're on the cusp of some remarkable changes, both good and bad.

Oil production has probably peaked but demand hasn't. Russia is now pumping more oil than Saudi Arabia. Financial Sense helps you to dig through the hype and find out what is really happening.
The Institute for Analysis of Global Security provides enough information to keep you awake at night wondering when someone in Iran, Nigeria, Saudi Arabia, Mexico, Venezuala, Chad or Russia will make the decision that will drive oil up to $200 a barrel.
We all know that the government lies with statistics to keep us from panic or anger. Shadow Government Statistics puts together the real statistics so that you can make your plans based on reality, not politically inspired fairy tales. For example SGS CIP figures generally run 3% higher than the official US Government figures. That means that instead of a 4% inflation rate the U.S. is actually experiencing a 7% inflation rate in spite of the declining wages of the American Middle Class.
The Pew Center for Global Climate Change is an objective, data-gathering and disseminating source on climate change. Use it as your jumping off point to get up to speed on the facts that will change our lives and those of our children forever.
The International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis has published an excellent paper on World Population Prospects that will give you reason to rethink the world we are leaving for our grandchildren. India as the world's most populous countries, Pakistan and Nigeria as population giants far surpassing any first world country and China facing a greying population crisis that makes Japan's crisis today look like a blessing by comparison.
The BBC has provided a recent article on global water stress that shows how bad things are now before the demand for water doubles over the next few decades.
