The Personal Privacy Account is a way to enhance one's personal privacy in this increasingly bureaucratic and invasive age by means of having a ready formed inexpensive company with the company name used as the account holder instead of your personal name. The company provides bearer shares for anonymous ownership. For an additonal fee we can provide:
- Nominee Directors to keep your name off the company records.
- Power of Attorney to let you operate your bank account as signatory.
About the company
The underlying company is available as a trading concern that
- Provides you with an account that is only tracable to the company. (You select the company name from a list of existing pre-formed companies that we will provide to you. If you prefer a defferent name, see the next item.)
- Can be given a customised company name (to reflect either an existing trading name or perhaps a personal name other than your own such as "John Smith, Ltd." This can be done for a US$150 additional cost. (Some naming restrictions apply)
- Can be used for trading purposes (this incurs a US$500 per year maintenance fee which we will remind you of.)
- Can have debit cards issued in its name. (If you change the company name, you'll need to change this as well.)
Debit/credit cards issued in the company name will also need replacing and there will be a charge payable to the bank for this. The Personal Privacy Account will enable you to enjoy all the benefits of foreign banking where it is possibly problematic for you to use your local bank due to legal or financial regulations and conditions, or indeed you simply want readily accessible and easily moved funds outside your own country. Please note that the Personal Privacy Account carries all the benefits of a secured corporate account (see above) including minimal identification requirements (just a copy of a passport, specimen of signature and a street address, which can be a mail-drop). Account management charges are also the same.
Account Opening Requirements
As soon as Stoughton Ltd receives your order (see order form) , you complete the required data and your payment clears into our own account - normally 7 to 10 days by wire transfer, we will send you an account package by courier with the necessary forms filled in with the information you have provided, full instrsuctions on how to complete the final phase and, of course, your complete company kit.
This 'package' contains all the documentation required to open your account - a specimen signature card, a copy of the agreement with the bank, your account name and number, wire transfer instructions and full documentation - which should be finalized as instructed then sent directly to the bank by courier for speed and security (DHL delivers from North America within 2 to 3 days and from the rest of the world in 4 to 7 days at the outside).
Your account will be open to receive incoming wired credits immediately when you receive the account number.
Obviously the documentation must be completed and returned to the bank before your account can be used for making payments, but if action is quick and courier used, this should be possible within a few days. As with corporate accounts, you determine the speed here.

Please note that the Personal Privacy Account carries all the benefits of a Secured Corporate Account including minimal identification requirements. The identification supplied is kept completely confidential in accordance with the very rigorous laws in the bank's jurisdiction.
Costs - Account Opening
Together with forming the nominee company to hold your account, the exclusive Personal Privacy Account might be expected to be expensive, but for all this:

- Sending the account agreements back to you by courier
- Any and all initial support and assistance with your account
We charge a flat rate of just US$950 plus actual courier charges.
($240 additional charge for the optional debit card.)
For this, you will have the full and exclusive use of a highly secure and confidential USD offshore bank account in a corporate name which can be managed electronically from the comfort of your own home. You will not be involved in the company formation, no references will be sought and other than the return of the account agreements and your offshore company documents, there will be no written correspondence sent to your address - you may even use a mail-drop address for the receipt of the documentation.
